At first I was kind of sad and nervous about leaving home and my friends and the rest of my family. Then once we got on the road I was more excited than ever. Our first stop was going to be Yosemite. That took four hours of driving from home to Yosemite! We wanted to go from Yosemite to Tonopah, Nevada but the road we needed was blocked. The cool thing was the gate that was closed was right next to a waterfall. We stayed there and did some photography and felt the water. While we were next to the waterfall my dad was droning everything from under the bridge. After spending about an hour there we double backed a while to go a different way to get to Tonopah, Nevada. The drive is going to be about seven hours to get to Tonopah, Nevada. Since we did have to double back my parents didn’t get to go to the brewery they wanted to go to in Tonopah. We finally arrived in Nevada at 8:30 pm. Then we had 3 hours and 41 minutes to Tonopah, Nevada.
